What Members Thought
A brief interlude in the story that was started in The Virgin Cure and continued in The Witches of New York. Gabriel Palsham continues to try to destroy the young apprentice witch Beatrice but a German Baroness has other plans, which come to fruition at her New Year's Eve ball. McKay's stories are always fanciful but her characters are completely plausible and always a delight.
