A lovely little book that made me laugh and think, two of my favorite things. Two favorite parts: #1 "...I now know what Montaigne and I were doing here was engaging in premeditatio malorum, a Stoic practice in which we regularly remind ourselves that we and our loved ones are mortal and bound to die. Basically it boils down to contemplating potential misfortunes in advance, so when the bad thing happens you can react with all the grim calmness of Eeyore. I think of it as pragmatic pessimism, be
