What Members Thought
This is Atkinson's first book and I can see the bones that were fleshed out in Life After Life. Ruby Lennox narrates the history of her family, moving back and forth through time, revealing pivotal moments that eventually lead to the present and a portrait of imperfect people failing to make the best choices for themselves but persevering and hanging together as a family despite tragedy, grief, and disappointment.
