This is a lovely book that chronicles the author's ownership of/by a tame fox. Tame foxes are ones that have been raised for generations for the fur trade and are not capable of surviving in the wild. Coker, through prior experience raising and releasing a litter of wild fox kits whose mother was hit by a car, was notified of a litter of foxes from a fur farm that were being adopted out.
