I love all these books but this one spent a little too much time rehashing information from previous books that, if you are this far into the series (#19 and counting), is really unnecessary. That said, I devoured it in 36 hours so it didn't slow me down any. What I have always loved about Cherryh's books is the focus on communication and how incredibly difficult it would have to be between aliens and human beings.
