It's always interesting to read something written centuries ago, especially a foundational book for a genre.

By modern standards, this is really only worthy of being read by children/teens, though I think they'd get tired of the Christian theology. It's British Imperialist, in the worst sort of way - all good things come from the "civilized" world, and all people would jump at the chance of being slaves so that they could partake of Britain in some fashion.
