This book took me just over 2 months from start to finish and listening to it narrated by Richard Armitage made it all the more enjoyable as I listened to his voices he brought to characters, bringing them alive.
I had only seen the dramatization of David Copperfield before and is often the way they have to cut much out. The book was engaging as was the narration. I especially enjoyed Richard's portrayal of the slimy Uriah Heep. ...more

By far one of the best of Dickens's work. The precocious nature of young Copperfield is noteworthy. It inspires us to face our problems with maturity and move on in life ,looking forward towards a better tomorrow. The words of Mrs Strong were particularly strong and very true, "There can be no disparity in marriage,like unsuitability of mind and purpose".
