I love this book. When I was assigned the book in my high school english class (way back in the 70's) I was overwhelmed by the shear bulk and i put off reading it till it was close to being due. I recall cramming the end of book into a few nights. I was totally blown away with the shear emotional depth of the novel. It was the first novel to move me to tears. No in my 60's I decides to revisit DC and of course i wasn't disappointed . The book somewhat autobiographical of Dickens follows DC throu ...more
