Similar to many classics, Mark Twain’s Huckleberry Finn has a wide range of both fans and critics. One controversy that seems to always surface is the use of the “n” word in the novel. In many ways, though, Twain’s use of the word was a realistic depiction of the South at this time. Read this in High School and hated it. It seemed to me to be all about the worst in humanity. I'm sure there's a lot more to it, but I just remember hating it. lol
