As a kid, I had a neighbor nicknamed Frog. He had a sign above his garage proclaiming his home to be "Toad Hall" and he mentioned it was in honor of this book.
Now that I've read it, something that strikes me as hilarious is that he was a truck driver! Poop-Poop!
