This is the story of a Mexican whiskey priest in the 1930's. A preist with an alcohol habit, among other un-priestly blemishes, who is at large from the Red government of Mexico. The government has banned Catholicism and ordered all priests be executed. Despite his record of an imperfect priesthood, the whiskey priest forges on in this bleak and dismal time; brining religion and salvation to the people who now cannot get it.
