I had high hopes for The Tempest, but it turned out to be a challenging one to follow, at least for me. I'm glad I stuck with it, though. I may end up rereading this one after I get more experience in the language of William Shakespeare.

Reading Shakespeare is like reading a foreign language. I read The Tempest many years ago and decided to read it again. I was able to understand and enjoy the play using the many notes in the Folger edition I read. The play can be interpreted on many levels. I also found a cool short animated enactment on YouTube which helped. In any case it’s a great fun magical play and well worth the challenge.
One of the few that made me feel like I was really caught up in the story.
