I can’t believe I made it through this entire story. At first, I was surprised at how easy it was to read with regard to language, word choice, etc. I had expected it to be more difficult - however, it was the actual content that was so difficult.

I didn't love this one ngl... think I blame the fact that I read The Death of Ivan Ilych right before reading this and really enjoyed it. It made this one kind of drag on and pale a little in comparison. I feel like I'll revisit this at some point and most likely enjoy it more
