You find yourself in a bar in Amsterdam. A man sits down next to you and begins to tell you about his respectful career as a defense lawyer. He seems like an honorable, stand up dude. You kind of like the guy. Then he slowly let's all the truth come out in increments as the drinks flow. His beliefs, his motives, his dark past. Now he's in an all out rant. A short book, but not a quick read. There’s a lot of food for thought. It leaves one with an unsettled feeling, as the author doubtless intended.
