Dull as dishwater. I’ve been reading this for almost a month and I’m only on page 92. I’m only that far along from forcing myself to read it. It’s such a chore, so painful to pick up - ugh. I only gave it this long because Mark Twain is a classic American author and I feel like I “should” like him. I read Tom Sawyer and hated it. I thought maybe reading a book not set in Jim Crow America would help me like Twain more. Nope. Still boring and dull. I’m more a Wodehouse type of humor gal. Twain lea

I had this book on my iPhone for a long time and up until recently only read it when I was was stuck away from home with nothing else to do, and then a couple weeks ago decided I had to knuckle down and finish this thing. The eBook reading experience was not to my liking. Maybe someday I'll pick up a paper copy at Half Price and try it again. Overall, I thought the story was just OK....great fun in some parts and a bit of a drag in other parts. Some of the chapters seemed to drag on too long. I
