This book was so outstanding. Niccolo Machiavelli was a genius; his concise insightful strategies on the predictability of human nature are absolutely enthralling. It's not hard to see that the human psychology really didn't change over time, so Machiavelli's principals work just as well now as it did then.

The edition I read was this one with these chapters included from Machiavelli's Discourses on Livy: from Book One, chapters II, III, IV, X, XI, XII, LVIII were included; from Book Two, chapter II was included; and from Book Three, chapters XXI and XLI were included.
