What Members Thought
I really love the storyline with Benedick & Beatrice, they are well matched wit for wit and love for love. They're fun to watch throughout, but I really do NOT like the storyline with Claudio & Hero. I think Claudio was a jerk and Hero wasn't much of anything. She was a blank slate and I think that was the point, er, one of the points.
Romantic Comedies rely on misunderstandings and/or gossip which is one reason I don't tend to like them, and that of course was one of the main themes of this play ...more
