I loved it! Her writing seems so effortless and it is so visual that the movie followed the book almost verbatim. How often does that happen?
Of cause a reread. This time by audio book. A lovely afternoon spent listening ❤️❤️❤️❤️ 🧙♂️🧙♀️
Excellent in audio, except Hermione always seemed to moan in a very weird way. The chess game scene had to be inspired by Alice in Wonderland. I know who ends up with who in the end which I love as it is unexpected so it's fun to be able to see them banter together.

an occasional, pleasurable summer re-read: an ice cream cone of a book, familiar & perfect to the last page.
First time I’ve ever done this. Reread the book and rewatched the movie together. Back and forth over two days. Great book and great movie.
