Within the first pages of “In Cold Blood” Capote paints a picture of an ordinary, sleepy town of Holcomb, Kansas. Brilliant book. One of those rare books that you can recommend to anybody.
Everyone will find something in this book and everyone will love it for a different reason.
I love it because it's so not-judgmental and open-minded. Not to mention Truman's fantastic writing style.
