Contrary to most of the reviewers, I did not like Holly Golightly or think that she was an unusual character. Today there seem to be many slutty, ambitious teenagers who are after rich daddys and I am sure there would have been many also during the older era. Attractive poor gold digger has been premise of many novels in the past, classics even. Say, novels like Vanity Fair, has character quite similar to Holly.
