i am fascinated by stories of faith...the cycle of losing faith, re-finding it, and ultimately having it shape life through a lens which may or may not employ a narrow scope of the world. people search constantly for a deeper meaning to all things, including their own existences--it is an essential part of human nature to wonder and to ask /why/. but peace, as is so often repeated, must come first and foremost from within...

I have never read much actual Buddhist philosophy or books that synthesize it, so a lot of the concepts of the book were new to me. However, after witnessing Siddhartha collect the infinity stones of the different kinds of knowledge and experience, I’m still not really sure what the point was. Maybe this is one of those “it’s about the journey” books.
