What Members Thought

I haven't seen the movie yet and in such instances, I prefer to read the book first and then watch the movies so as I have read the book now in the future I would watch the movie too. The book was great the best parts were the little notes by Mr. Goldman throughout the books and the introduction at the start. For me, the book became way funnier due to this.

The movie has long been one of my favorites, so I bought this beautiful illustrated hardcover edition of the book in the expectation of loving it too. Alas, most of what is in the book and not the movie, the movie is far better for being without. The characters are sooo much better in the movie and I found most of the additional backstory from the book to be a detraction, oddly enough.
