What can I say about The Sentry except it was good. We got another glimpse into the mysterious Joe Pike and the deep bonds that hold Joe and Elvis together. It was what we all have come to expect from a Robert Crais novel…an action packed, exciting ride to a heart stopping finish with twists and turns along the way that you won‘t see coming.

Another great Elvis/Joe adventure but a little on the gory side (more that usual in these books). I listened to the audio version on my commute to & from work. The narration is great but the voice for Pike is a little too whispery and or gravelly so it makes it makes me laugh...just not how I would imagine him sounding.
Crais did a super job on the creepy/psycho bad guy. It took me a few scenes with the bad guy to figure him out and what was going on with him....yeah really crazy guy. In this bo ...more

Nice addition to the series. Well plotted, believable.
