Overall I enjoyed this book. I hope that there will be a sequel to explain more of the plot. Daughter of Darkness was in the spirit of most V.C. Andrews books. The main character was not much of a role model until the end of the book. She was meek, weak, naive,childish,and boy crazy (instant true love). But, by the end of the book she had found her strength!

I put off reading this book for a long time due to all the negative reviews. I think that if it had been expanded and went more into the mythos, the story could of been strengthened quite a bit. Overall, though, this is one of the first books since before the Orphan series that I feel really found Andrews spirit. If Neiderman..meyer..whatever his name is..was a strong writer, i think this would of been awesome. Instead, it was pretty good. I am glad I only paid a dollar for it.
I liked it to an extent. If you have read any vampire books this one is completely different and as always it seems to have that VC Andrews incest vibe. Other than that it was not a terrible read
this one was oddball, but interesting. the ending was left hanging too. will eventually buy it used but not as impressive as others by VCA.
This book was decent but not what I've come to expect from V.C., I found it a little hard to get into but the story seemed to be an ok one.
