I enjoyed Cinnamon . Cinnamon is a book that is very modern unlike V.C.’s other works which seem to be timeless. You can put your finger on which decade this book takes place in. I think I enjoyed it too because Cinnamon is involved in the theater. I love theater and dream of performing. I could live vicariously through Cinnamon in this book. Better than I remembered. Cinnamon was an enjoyable main character and her family situation was interesting to read about. Her friend Clarence was also a nice addition.
I enjoyed the gothic home setting. It was also nice to see things end on a much different note than I was expecting. I had a difficult time putting this one down once I was past the halfway point.
