The trend of VC Andrews heroines being idiots continues. I think this is the ghostwriters fault. Cathy and Heaven were smarter than this. But then again there's Audrina. Anyway the book opens with Melody heading out to find her dead mother who isn't dead. She is taken by a drug dealer at the airport agreeing to drop off a briefcase for him. What a moron. I really liked this book. But the Hollywood parts at the beginning were a bit unnecessary for the story. Holly is by far my favorite character.
