I seem to enjoy all VC Andrews books, along with this one. Crystal is a smart girl, just wanting a family of her own, to love. She wants to be accepted by the right people & can recognize the people that she doesn't need in her life. She realizes that we are all orphans in our own different ways. ...more

the story of cystal that gets adopted by a karl and his wife who thinks of the people on her soaps are real and gets sad when something happens to them.when her mother dies she gets worst and than what happens next shocked even me......2nd book in the series
