Despite what others have said about this novel, I personally really enjoyed Willow. This is not your typical VCA heroine. Willow comes from money (more than she realizes). She is already in college, she is not a virgin, she is pretty normal. This book takes Willow on an adventure to find her mother who just happens to live in affluent Palm Beach, Florida. I haven't read this series in ages so I'd kind of forgotten everything minus the familial relations.
Willow is a pretty decent character with a good head on her shoulders. It was also refreshing to see a love interest that wasn't too toxic. The atmosphere is well described, maybe a little too much. I'm not sure why so many unimportant characters have to have in-depth descriptions.
The story itself is decent, though not really any twists or big revelations. The relationship between Willow and Grace ...more
