This one was actually pretty good and is the first ghostwriter VC Andrews I actually really enjoyed as an adult. Maybe because Melody is different from other VC Andrews ghostwriter heroines or maybe because the whole series is different. Melody unlike Ruby, Dawn etc doesn't have a child who gets to narrate book 4. But I also noticed the similarities between original VC Andrews that were thrown into this book. Given that I've read literally every. single. VCA book ever- this series was pretty forgettable. More of the same rags to riches, betrayal, secrets, and so on- but this time at the BEACH. ...more
