this was the story of Olivia and Belinda as they grew up when they were younger.it explains why Olivia felt the way that she did towards her sister.it was a very interesting book because it put all the missing pieces of the puzzle finally fit together...
Usually the prequels are the best of the bunch but this one didn't hold up. First the title is off. I read another review that said Muted Voices which sounded good to me. Just keep to the musical theme. Anyway the book starts off promising with Belinda, the crazy great aunt from earlier books delivering a still born baby that's secretly buried in the yard. Belinda lives life in a way that Blanche Devereux would look on in awe cause even she's not that easy. She literally jumps anything in pants.
