LIKED THE BOOK, BUT THE CREAPY WAY THAT TONY HAS THIS OBESSION WITH HIS WANTING TO CONTROLL ANNIE, AND HOW HE WANTS TO TURN HER INTO ANTOHER LIEGH. FULLY TAKES ADVANTAGE OF POWER HUNGRY DRAKE, AND HOW HE CONFUSES ANNIE AND THINK SHE IS HEAVEN, THEN TALKS HER INTO DYEING HER HAIR BLONDE. IT IS JUST TO SICK FOR THE REASONS BEHIND IT ALL. This was my least favorite book. This book with a few tweaks her and there in the story line seems to be a copy of the second book in the series. Annie is taken in by Tony Tatterton but she soon finds out he has an ugly side.
Plot:
This is a re-read for me. I've read this book several times, mostly in high school and college. I was obsessed with V.C. Andrews, her books, and her characters. I decided I missed reading her books and decided I would re-read this series again.
