I cannot believe anyone could be so dumb and so naive as Dawn was in this book. For someone who has been through all she has you'd think she'd pick up some street smarts. My Lord. The book starts off good with Dawn arriving in New York. She makes friends, she kicks butt at her new school and does everything her evil grandmother said she wouldn't.
