Favourite book of all time. My favourite person of all time introduced it to me as well. These books just get you thinking. People can be so heartless and dire situations have sone much influence on innocent children. These books keep you reading, not for entertainment, but because you just have to know.

What to even say... This book is such a mind trip. When starting to read it, it seems so happy and picturesque, comfortable... Having no idea where it ends up taking you. A wonderful guilty pleasure and so deliciously wrong! I can’t help but get sucked right into this world, and find it astonishing how the beautiful writing tricks you into the warped situations and emotions that are portrayed in this story. Since I've recently been in the habit of writing reviews, this is one that's been grossly overdue.

My very first V.C. Andrews book. And first but no the last V.C. Andrews series. I watched the movie (by lifetime) first and was instantly intrigued. I wanted to read the book so I did and wasn’t surprised because It was like re-watching the movie all over again. But even better! If you like eerie suspense with a twist books you’ll definitely enjoy Flowers in the Attic. Hold on tight because there’s lots of betrayal, love and hate family relationship in this read.
