Smashed is one of my favorite books so I went into Fury hoping that it would be just as brilliant but fearing that it might fall short of the pedestal I hold Smashed on! I found the beginning a bit slow-going and reluctant to move away from talk of therapies and remedies that made the writing seem almost clinical. I can relate. I am very interested in her exploration of anger and rage that for many women is hard to express and be okay with expressing. This is work in a positive direction for the process of being fully human and fully capable of expressing in a healthy way a range of emotions. What happens when one becomes stuck and bottled up inside?
