What Members Thought
I am not a hockey fan but this book is not about hockey even though hockey is at the center of everyone's life in this rich and moving novel. Backman's characters are so real and so human. The characters I loved disappointed me and the ones I disliked surprised me. Nobody is all good or all evil. We are all a mix and Backman masterfully brings out both sides of his characters in this story. Sometimes I couldn't put it down and sometimes is was so overwhelming that I had to.
