The world concept is clearly the driving force behind this book. Overall, the writing is fantastic and the world is extremely interesting. The plot is rather slow, and at the end, I felt like not much had happened. However, it was definitely worth the read, and I'll be interested to see how Amazon treats its adaptation.

This is a book I was more interested to read after seeing the first series. The book itself is imaginative and well written, just dry and hard to move along at a decent pace.
