I read this in a lot of stop-start fits. It’s not that this wasn’t amazing (it was), it just wasn’t that amazingly fast-paced, grip you by the hair, drag you along kind of story. Blue-haired Kouru attends a school of the arts in Prague. The drawings she makes of monsters are real though her friends think it's fantasy. This other world is behind a magic door through which she cannot go. But part of that other world is the enemy of Kouru's world and they are about to collide. One side are Angels and the other Chimaera; Part human part beast. This was an interesting world although it took a while to figure out. It seemed to start coming together and then pulled apart again.
