I loved Julia Quinn's Bridgerton series books and the Smythe-Smith stories. What a wonderful thing it was when I was discovered a new one had come out. A very funny and enjoyable read!!! This is about Daniel's best friend Hugh Prentice who was involved in that travesty, where they both got very drunk and played cards. This is a 3.5-star read for me.

I see Hugo Prentiss as the linchpin for this series. He is the vital first piece that set into motion the series of events that led to Daniel's exile to the Continent, and his subsequent return, and Honoria, Daniel's sister, finding her happy ending with their friend, Marcus Holroyd

I loove you Julia Quinn!!! I really do!!!
Although this book is good..and really flawless writing!!!
It was just an average book for me, a little far from the past books( bridgerton series) which i totally love.
I can't simply give the synopsis because its too complicated. And honestly, the book is a little difficult to follow if you haven't read the previous books.
The second half of the book was really good though. I loved it.
