The Duke has never been impulsive until he spots Edie across a ballroom. He rushes her into marriage and they find out how they fit together. I love that James writes about how un-fairy-tale-like real marriage is, even if both people love each other.

I have had the most delightful last few days with this book and now I've finished it I just want to go back to the beginning and start again. Yes it's a love story and so it's no surprise that Gowan and Edie end up happily ever after, but on the way, well, they face all manner of challenges. Shelves: favorites, love-story, regency

This is a book I picked up completely on a whim randomly while searching through Amazon. I'm really interested in romance books centered around royalty so I'd thought I'd give this a shot.
