I enjoyed this even more than Silk Is for Seduction - Longmore is such a sweetie!

And Kate Reading's performance was as wonderful as always.

Review to follow at some point.

Ms Chase is back with her most perfect book yet! I adored Sophy and Longmore's bickering while attracted, then bickering while falling for each other, then bickering while even making love. Their adventure while searching for his sister and then saving his sister was fun too. Sophy was such a great character. Perfect scenes and dialogue of their rapid & witty back and forth! My new favorite of one of my favorite authors. But what happens to Fenwick? ...more

The writing started off less elegant than I recall from the previous book. However, it more than made up for it later on. I couldn't believe how well written it was, how beautifully descriptive. I am well acquainted with Ms. Chase's writing, and while I acknowledge it as top notch, I must say she simply blew my mind this time around. ...more
