What Members Thought
2.5. I liked this well enough, but it wasn't anything that captured me. Duran is a really good writer, and nothing has changed with that in this book. I just never warmed up to the H/h. Especially Nell. At one point I was just like, "Lady Chick, you seriously need to get over yourself." The only plus side of this is that typically it's the rich nobs with an overwhelming case of me-itis; it's kind of refreshing to see a poor character (who are often romanticized as always being morally superior)
