Book 1 of the Lucky Harbor series - my first time reading this author. I decided to give these books a try after reading the author's blog and laughing so hard at her "true life" escapades.
This book had me from the very beginning when the heroine, Maddie, is driving into town on winding shore roads and almost runs over a guy riding a motorcycle. Hmmm...could this be our hero? Pretty "tame" for a Jill Shalvis novel I think. Enjoyed it still, nonetheless. I liked the relationship of the sisters. And how Lucky Harbor is so small that news travels so fast and everybody just knows what happens to anybody. I kinda miss the quick wit and quick exchanges though. I think it's pretty light on that for this one.
