Eh, this was just okay. Made for decent waiting-for-the-bus-good-lord-it's-been-forever reading. This is the third book I've read by Medeiros, and I think I'm just not gelling with her style. It's got a lot of good elements: stolen bride, road trip through the highlands, warm surrogate mother for the motherless alpha male, etc., but it just didn't do much for me.
