Eh, this was just okay. Made for decent waiting-for-the-bus-good-lord-it's-been-forever reading. This is the third book I've read by Medeiros, and I think I'm just not gelling with her style. It's got a lot of good elements: stolen bride, road trip through the highlands, warm surrogate mother for the motherless alpha male, etc., but it just didn't do much for me. Well this is the first book I have read by Teresa Medeiros, and I will definitely be reading many more if they half as entertaining as this one. Jamie was total alpha-highlander and Emma was a spunky English lass

Karena ini buku pertamanya yang gw baca jadi masih belum terbiasa dengan gaya tulisannya. Dari segi cerita, terbilang biasa aja, apalagi gw g bisa terima kenapa si tua Hepburn khusus memilih Emma yang ternyata bukan seorang lady yang memiliki kecantikan yang luar biasa, hanya seorang putri baron biasa yang terlibat hutang. Terus, Jamie Sinclair yang menculik calon pengantin muda musuhnya dari altar itu tidak bertarung secara jantan malah main taktik tukar menukar pengantin dengan kastil yang kat
