What Members Thought

I really enjoyed this book. It wasn't just a fluff romance but had depth and made me feel a wide range of emotions. I also highly enjoyed the different stories of the sisters intermingling with in this book. You get a glimpse of each sister, their personality, and you form a opinion and connection to them all. Great tactic cause it draws you in to want to read the other books in the Bride Quartet to see what happens to the other sisters. At least it has for me! I can't wait to see what happens w

This was a wonderful story. Of course, all of EJ's books are terrific. This one is about Tess. She is the eldest of four orphaned sisters. They are sent to their guardian, a duke in England, from their family home in Scotland when their father dies. There she meets one of his horse-racing friends, Lucius, who is untitled but one of the wealthiest self-made men in England. There is conflict with his family over his commercial success.
