3.5 The tone was definitely juvenile but the story is decent. It has some interesting takes on the future. In regards to the "future" slang, I find it unfortunate that she decided to call all forms of transportation "transport" and shorten it 98% of the time to "trannies" and sometimes "trans." Perhaps young adults reading this wouldn't associate those words with other things, but it jarred me every time. ...more

Fluttering Thoughts:

Worldbuilding: Post-apocalyptic dystopia elements, with governmental uber-control & abuse. I liked the dystopian elements and the whole XVI was an interesting concept.
