OK, I was torn between 3 and 4 stars...but let's face it...Stefan and Damon pre Elena? Yeah, it was good :) I wanted to read the original Vampire Diaries, but I haven't made it there yet. And honestly, I heard they weren't that spectacular. It did take me a few weeks to get through this book...it just stayed on my coutner, I was in no rush to finish it. A new spin off series on The Vampire Diaries. It was really good and it was nice to see Stefan's perspective in his past live. Reading the book gave me a better understanding on how the original life triangle started and how Stefan and Damon became a vampire.
