I'm a bit happy that we have a new fresh take in The Vampire Diaries book chain. I am a reader of The original series, but was left a bit disappointed with the last book that was released. Honestly I haven't even finished it. So when I read that Stefan Diaries was coming out and would be a trilogy, I thought to myself Should I buy this book? Well I'm glad I did. I was just notified that I won this book in the Goodreads 1st Reads program! YAY! I am so excited. I love The Vampire Diaries. I read the first 4 books and have yet to finish the series. Now I have lots of incentive to. I love the book series and the I love the Tv Series even though they are very different. I cannot wait to get this book! I love me some Salvatore brothers, because of course you have the good vs evil VAMPIRES!!!!!!!!!!

I loved this book but not sure I would have as much if I wasn't already a huge fan of the TV series. I highly recommend anyone who loves the show read this. What an awesome insight into Damon and Stefan's past! And, of course, Katherine. Yep, still hate her but can't help but need to know more about her. She fascinates me in a strange way. this followed the show so much i was caught just thinking if it lined up with the whole show some things are different but most are the same stefan is awesome i just wish there was a Damon side of the story
