We were lucky to be invited to participate in this blog tour but due to shipping reasons several books didn't make it in time to bloggers. We still Thank Simon & Schuster for the review copies.
I'm a fan of Kenyon for a long time and I was glad to know she had a new series coming out partner up with Love. This is not your typical fantasy book at all. This book had a lot happening. It was well written with lively fight scenes and taut vibe of 'coolness' that the heroine radiated through most of the novel.
Lots of characters, lots of 'types' of creatures, lots of set-up for what happens next.
I think that might have also been a bit of a drawback as it ended without feeling satified.
While I love book series, there's something a little frustrating about them when you don't feel some sort of ending with each book.
