Let me begin by saying that although I've enjoyed the Dark Hunter books I've read, every one has been an emotional flogging. Unlike the others, however, in which we catch only nightmarish glimpses of what the characters suffered, Acheron wallows in page after page of appalling misery, torture, deceit, and every atrocity one person could commit on another.

Acheron this is the 15th book in the Dark Hunters book series written by author Sherrilyn Kenyon. This is by far my favorite in the whole series. Throughout the who series you half fall in love with the ever present, mysterious, Sexy leader of the Dark Hunters always there to defend and support those under his charge but not too much is know personally except the sacrifices that he endures for others.

This is by far the BEST of this series. It takes you through Acheron's whole life and lets you understand how and why he is what he is and why he acts the way he does. The ending of the book is just amazing but i refuse to spoil it for those who have yet to read it.
